The Nxt.Registry is the secure digital platform that powers Nxt.Nature programs such as Nxt.CarbonPlus™ labelled units. It plays a critical role in ensuring transparency, traceability, and integrity.

Through the Nxt.Registry, labelled units are created by linking eligible carbon credits or nature units to Certified Environmental Asset Accounts*. This connection provides a secure link and verifies the data connection of the nature measurements of a project—all independently certified under the Accounting for Nature® Framework.

What the Nxt.Registry does.

Digitally links Australian Carbon Credits Units (ACCUs) with Certified Environmental Asset Accounts under the Accounting for Nature® Framework to create Nxt.CarbonPlus™ labelled units.

  • Maintains the chain of custody for each Nxt.CarbonPlus™ labelled unit, from issuance to retirement.

  • Hosts up-to-date project data, enabling access to environmental performance data.

  • Supports transparent reporting and compliance.

How it works.

The Nxt.Registry is built on CorTenX, a blockchain-based API First infrastructure, the same encryption technology and secure architecture trusted by financial markets, ensuring data integrity and protection. It enables the digital labelling, tracking and public disclosure of nature assets and labelled units issued under Nxt.Nature programs.
