David Shelmerdine AO
Chair

David is an industry advisor on climate change, nature-based solutions, agricultural supply chains and sustainable development, food, and land use systems. He is a director of IEEFA Australia Pty Ltd and was the founding director of ClimateWorks Centre. David served as a Director and Past President of the Gold Standard Foundation for 10 years. He is a past Deputy Chairman of The Myer Family Investment Company Pty Ltd, a member of its investment committee, remuneration and nominations committee and Chairman of the Audit and Governance Committee.

Daisy Mallett

Daisy is an independent arbitrator and legal advisor.  She has more than twenty years of experience resolving complex international disputes for multinational companies and governments. Her experience spans commercial, trade and investment disputes, as well as business and human rights risks. She has a particular interest in legal issues arising out of the context of the Paris Agreement and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Daisy has served as a Director of Social Ventures Australia, where she sat on the Board sub-committees for Impact Investing and Culture & Remuneration. She is also a former Director of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration, where she now chairs the Sustainability Taskforce, and she is the former Chair of the Nature Positive Economy CRC Bid Advisory Committee.

Neil Salisbury

Neil is a serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in climate, nature and broader sustainability.  He is an experienced CEO and Founder, having launched several businesses in the ESG, climate and nature-related sectors.  Neil is currently involved as a founder, chair, director and investor in several impact focused start-ups including Nxt.Nature, NatureCo, Earth Ventures, Point Zero and Archipelago Energy.  Neil is also an enterprise fellow at the University of Melbourne and a founding advisory board member at the University of Melbourne’s Climate Futures Institute.
